DooRag Project

I have been working on DooRags for a few weeks. I thought I would share my experience with you. This is what I have learned, thus far.

DooRag – a specially designed cloth that ties around the head to protect the hair. It can be worn for fashion, to keep hair in place, to keep bugs out of the hair, or to collect perspiration. Literally, it is a rag to protect your (hair) do.

How to spell DooRag? There are several spellings of DooRag with variations of each. Some people think it is a Dew Rag – named because it collects dew (perspiration). The various spellings are as follows:
1. DooRag / Doo Rag / Doo-rag
2. DoRag / Do Rag / Do-rag
3. DuRag / Du Rag / Du-rag
4. DewRag / Dew Rag / Dew-rag
